In my defense to the Bible's credibility as I start a series that will go under the title: " But the Bible was right (The bible as history) "
The title of this series I borrow from a book with precisely the same title.
It is a book that was written by a German journalist ( Werner Keller 1909-1980 ) whose aim was to find out whether there was any evidence of the Bible's descriptions of cities, places and reproduced events.
The book contains not less than 47 chapters in 383 pages covering a period from Abraham to the fall of Jerusalem after Jesus' birth. The book attracted much attention when it was published and was welcomed of course from Christian quarters.

As so many times someone publicly claiming to biblical advantage so meet the arguments to the contrary, this is a crucial part of the game rules of the conversation in the public domain.
Just like I as a Christian has the right to claim that Jesus Christ, the biblical God Son, is the only way to heaven, then antagonists right to question my argument, that I may give reasons for my belief.
Likewise, of course, in the opposite situation, I have the right to question such liberal theology (1) who claims that Jesus probably had a human father to the background of conception (2).
So that a statement or biblical event is questioned is nothing that would indicate that any lie is revealed and the truth is now settled.
No, one thing is for sure, Biblical criticism will continue, but it has always survived his opponents!
FLOOD, saw or Reality?
Now that I am going to talk about the deluge, I want to first point out that it is the deluge as the Bible describes as my text will be about.
There is a range of different versions of the flood of the Bible represents.
The Greeks have such Deukalions deluge story , on the American continent, there were among the aborigines, pre-Columbian, a variety of depictions of a flood. Even in Australia, Kashmir and Lithuania, there were depictions of a flood disaster, however, they have not the same image reproducing (3).

As we shall study this subject, I must first of all in very short terms reflect what the Bible describes what happened so we are all having erected during this time.
This blog text contains three parts dealing with the following themes: first What renders the Bible about the flood? second Why occurred Flood? 3rd Is there evidence for the Flood?
1. What renders the Bible about the Flood?
God saw that the people who lived at that time, about 1600 years after Adam was created, (4) were evil, their thoughts and intentions were permanently negative, and sought his own good without regard for anyone else's perspective (5).
God knew then remorse and was grieved in his heart that He created mankind, (6) but Noah had an obedience to and lifestyle before God, which he valued (7).
He lived his life and had children, unaware of the plan God had for humanity (8)
The condition on earth did not improve but got worse and worse, violence intensified and hatred increased significantly (9)
God is looking up Noah and informs him of his plan to destroy all living creatures because evil has taken disproportionate amount of violence , hatred and violent death (10)
God gave him very detailed instructions to Noah to build an ark of gopher wood and how it should be equipped to cope with the extreme stress that awaited (11).
God explained that Noah was chosen by God himself, because of his obedience and thanks to this would also Noah's wife, sons and their wife be saved from the judgment that would come upon all mankind, including the animal kingdom (12).
Even proceeded instructions that they would bring animals of various kinds and food could be stored and eaten both for animals and people on board. No matter what Noah thought and felt in question what God had said to him, so he did everything that God told him (13).
Once the ark was finished, he got new instructions that he and his whole family would go into the because it would start raining about seven days, and the rain would last for 40 days (14).
Just as God had said so broke the rain out and underground water sources gave away astronomical amounts of water (15) and this rain combined with underground pressure relief lasted for 40 days (16). ark rose at the height of the water level (17) and all mountain peaks in the sky was covered with water (18).
All living beings, humans, beasts, reptiles and birds of heaven drowned alive (19) and the water level remained high for 150 days (20 ).
God decided to allow the water to recede, so a wind went over the earth (21) after an additional 150 days as the water began to subside to the point as (22) Noah some time later let out a raven and a dove to see if they came back to the boat, to ensure that the water had receded (23).This experiment was repeated later again with dove, then came back with a fresh olivlöv in its beak, then Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth (24) but it took a period of a few months before God spoke to Noah and his family to leave sheets (25) even the animals on board would leave the ark and multiply (26).
They left all the sheets and later as Noah built an altar where he sacrificed some animals to a pleasing offerings before God who promised never to punish man for this model (27).

2. Why occurred Flood?
The Flood was preceded by a tragedy that first of all began in the Garden of Eden.
Where broke (28) the first humans, Adam and Eve against the clear instructions (29) that God had given them.
A unilateral separation from God started there and quickly began a vicious downward spiral dominate human thinking.
Adam and Eve's first two children had different hearts towards God (30 Abel became a shepherd and Cain arable farmers), so when God accepted Abel's sacrifice to God (31) but rejected Cain's sacrifice (32) as was Cain hateful to her brother who had the favor before the Lord.
The error here was not in the wrong sacrifice, but Cain's heart did not want to obey God. Therefore he gave God a sacrifice that He never asked, and saw his brother get the pleasure of God over his victim.
God saw this and pointed this out to Cain (33) but it did not help.
When the two brothers later well were out on their property and Cain was busy talking with his brother so, he attacked Abel and killed him in some way, so the blood was poured out on the ground (34).
Sin had quickly gained a huge impact, early in mankind came pride, (35) disobedience to God, (36 Adam watched Eve's action without protest) cowardice (37 Adam blames Eve despite Adam had the ultimate responsibility) jealousy (38) hatred of others, (39), murder, lust (40) and oförsoningen (41) in and ruined what God had intended.

He and his family became later in life once accused by God to build a boat out of gopher wood, because God had a thought of saving a few people away from a judgment that would come upon the whole earth, and this suits some people in and out that God is a murderer and a liar when he himself kills about 99% of the entire contemporary humanity, and self then says it's a sin to kill (42).
Yes, if you lack insight into elementary (43) questions the Bible actually is clear, so it looks as if God takes life of man that He Himself created in the Garden of Eden. That simple is not it.
It's like it's always been in the history of mankind, namely that each individual has a conscience who decides what is right and wrong in thought, speech and deed.
God gives every human being at least a sincere and genuine chance to receive forgiveness of their sins, this God has a great plan for every human being who we do not know in any situation.
If God did not give man any chance of this, then it would be all stereotypes (44) attribute (45) an objective truth about God of the Bible, then would God a murderer who indiscriminately kills us after subjectivism cynical malice.
The fact is, that the judgment of people who lived around Noah, and other countries that existed at the time, none of them wanted something with biblical God to do (46).
They said no to Him, therefore, God had to start over state of the earth.
When the Bible says that God repented that He created man, that does NOT that God repented of his plan and creation of human beings.
It is a linguistic dilemma that Bible translators do not find a better choice of words to.
God lamented the fact that He created man, because they were evil.
Of course, God knew that all this would happen, but by a sincere loving heart He created man to have someone to share eternity with, except with Jesus, the Holy Spirit and they angels who still chose to serve and worship God.
Either way, Noah, however, had a diametrically (47) disposition, he would have to do with God (48).
Therefore received he allowed to build a giant boat, something that probably was questioned sharply from those who knew and did not know Noah.
Noah and his family were by no means flawless people, later in the biblical depiction of their lives after the flood so we can see how their lifestyle collides with God's plans with their lives.

What then was the cause of the flood was man's sin and their unwillingness to turn from it. Therefore, God had to judge them all to death so Noah and the others who wanted to live with God would get a fair chance at it in the contemporary decadent the world. God had no choice simply!
3. Is there evidence for the Flood?
If it is the case that the flood actually took place, and not an urban legend (49) then it should of course be any evidence of this?
When English and American archaeologists working at Tell el-Muqajjar, (Iraq), he made extensive excavations for about six years. The work was well worth the effort, for it was found where among other things, the Sumerian temples, with its warehouses, workshops, court buildings and villa-like housing (50).
The expedition was not content to have found all this without continued his excavations under any royal tombs that were nearby, where did you find of wood ash, a variety of clay tablets who were older than the graves above, one finds dated to about 3000 BC.
They continue to make excavations and finds new layers of similar findings that indicate an unusually highly developed civilization of sumerfolket (51).
Suddenly cease all traces of layers and any form of civilization.
The only thing that comes in contact with the clay. Clay of the kind formed by deposits in the water. The theories then goes to the river Euphrates left the sludge once upon a time when the delta found its way into the Persian Gulf.
The theories began to lose because of this during work on the new accurate calculations, the river Euphrates were far too many yards located below this clay as it was found during the excavation. They continued to dig down into the pure pristine clay and came as deep as three feet into this and expected to find pure untouched bottom (52). Instead, they find again traces of human habitation, one finds something resembling stone-age tools.
The expedition does the same intensive excavations in another place, the result is the same: Traces of ancient civilizations, several meters deep mud, since traces of past civilizations.
To eradicate all doubt that the man found a temporary place for these findings so dig a third shaft, the same discovery. (53)
Now begins a regular hunting if this was a local phenomenon as over southern Iraq as before, these excavations here and there. According to data we find that these traces of clay which has a range of 630 km by 160 km. (54)
They did, of course readings from the human settlements that were found and they stated that this flood occurred about 4000 years before Christ. (p 55)

So in conclusion here to deluge so God told himself that he installed something on our earthly spherical sky as proof that a cataclysm of this nature would never affect all life on earth, namely the rainbow (56). There is a meteorological optical phenomenon which was given its creation in God's chosen time. Rainbow In other words, not present before the flood.
Jesus himself was fully aware and had no doubts about the flood existence.
Jesus gives us a detailed description about the people who lived before the Flood celebrated their wedding, was already at that time married off, ate and drank, and life proceeded as "normal" for them, yes this is how they lived until the day that the flood came. They knew nothing about it until it came and swept them all (57).
The reason that Jesus restored the flood events was to warn his surroundings that one day we were not expecting it, so will Jesus come back to earth to retrieve his Christian congregation.
Jesus gives us a detailed description about the people who lived before the Flood celebrated their wedding, was already at that time married off, ate and drank, and life proceeded as "normal" for them, yes this is how they lived until the day that the flood came. They knew nothing about it until it came and swept them all (57).
The reason that Jesus restored the flood events was to warn his surroundings that one day we were not expecting it, so will Jesus come back to earth to retrieve his Christian congregation.
Now that we have studied what the Bible detail reproduce, also examined the motives for the Flood and finally read that there is archaeological evidence for the Flood, we have added yet another cornerstone in place to prove that the Bible is true and trustworthy.
